Jennifer!
Babysitter, Tutor, Grocery Shopper and Snow Shoveler!

Prisma!
Pet feeder, tutor, dog walker, and babysitter!
Remember when you were in High School and did "odd jobs" for neighbors and friends?
Now you have a chance to get things done AND change a young person's life.
Below please find Atlas members who are willing to work for you to attend the college of their dreams!
Please note these young people are NOT working for Atlas, we are just helping Atlas members connect to community members! If you have an odd job you would like a young person to complete please email Lauren.Burke@atlasdiy.org with information about your task! We generally reccomend paying at least ten dollars an hour per task but it is up to you and your odd jobber! Please note you must be referred through someone at Atlas DIY (so ask your friend to connect you with us!) in order to be linked with a potential odd jobber!
Hi! My name is Prisma and I am a 17 year old high school senior who lives in Brooklyn! I will be attending Scripps College in the fall and am raising money to buy a laptop for school and for my travel expenses (California is far!). I hope to study ethnic studies in college and sociology. I am passionate about volunteering for immigrant rights organizations and have been an Atlas member since they opened!
I have experience feeding and walking cats and dogs and babysitting kids ages 4 and up. I have a GPA of 3.7 and can tutor elementary and middle school students in Spanish, English and History.

Hello! My name is Luis and I am 17 years old and I am interested in all sorts of things. My goal in life is to become a doctor but in order to achieve that I need to take the first step: paying for college! I am currently a high school senior and hope to start college in the fall of 2014.
I have experience working in legal offices and also working outside. I have spent many years babysitting my younger cousins and used to own dogs when I was little. I am currently taking every AP class offered at my high school and could tutor Math, Social Studies, Spanish and English for students of any grade level. Thank you for helping me achieve my dream of becoming a doctor!
